Passionate about investing

Farewell Blog

8 June 2012

Today is my last day of work in Broadgate so I have to write something to say goodbye and thank you to all of my fabulous colleagues and superiors. I have to say that I feel a little sad to leave this company because it has been a very enriching experience for me. I think Broadgate is a perfect corporation to do an internship for different reasons:

First of all, Broadgate is very dynamic so you are not only working on different projects (Easy Panel, Qrops campaign, projects in Cambodia and Vietnam…) but also in different areas (sales, marketing, investment, accounting…).

Then, even if Broadgate is quiet new, it is growing very fast and I could attend a lot of changes in the company during my three months here, which was very exciting.

Broadgate was also a great compromise for me. In fact, I have always wanted to work in South East Asia, but it is kind of hard for someone like me who was formatted by an occidental education. Working in Broadgate has given me the perfect frame to make a smooth transition between where I come from and where I want to go. Being in a perfectly mixed company has allowed me to advance into my professional objectives and to become a much more open minded person. Okay, if I have to be really honest, I think I will never be able to adapt to some of the food I have tasted with my colleagues, but they would never eat rabbit neither, so it is acceptable…

Finally everybody in Broadgate has been very obliging and nice to me. I have been integrated in the group with a lot of kindness, and each person has always been ready to answer my questions and to help me if I had any problem.

It has been a great pleasure to work in a so challenging company which perfectly respects its values and principles. I wish all the best to Broadgate and its people even if I am sure it will reach its objectives.

Good luck for the future!
