Structured Notes
Structured Notes are suited to short to medium term lump-sum investment objectives. They are primarily based upon the performance of Indices/ETFs or individual securities over a tenure of generally between 1 to 5 years.
There are broadly 3 types: Income Based, 100% Capital Protected and Auto-calls.
They are issued by highly rated banks and made available to investors through recognised intermediaries like Broadgate and represent a direct investment fully underwritten by the Primary Issuing Bank.
They are a very good vehicle to lock-in an investment with a good level of capital protection and receiving a regular income or coupon based on the criteria set-out in the factsheet of the Note in question. (There are Secondary Markets offering liquidity but these should not be relied upon for Investors who wish to exit early).
Notes can be invested in through an offshore bond (PPB) or directly on the Broadgate Platform, with no up-front fees or commissions.

At Broadgate, we always have available a diverse range of Structured Notes, each offering a different risk/return profile and our expert advisors are always happy to explain in greater detail the Notes on offer and after assessing the risk profile of a client, recommend the best Notes that fits that criteria.
These are not complex instruments once explained in detail and offer an excellent alternative to other lump-sum investment vehicles, or diversification of an existing Portfolio. Please note these investments are only available to sophisticated offshore expatriate investors who reside outside of Thailand.
